Get in Touch

Personally I find that calling someone that I don’t know is a little daunting. Please don’t worry, I am more than happy to take enquiries by email, text, WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. The most important thing is that you make contact.

Please contact me in the way you feel most comfortable.

If you do decide to call, I may not answer the phone if I am meeting with another client or it is outside office hours. Please leave a message, even if it’s just your name, and I will call you back!

Counselling quote: Therapy should not be theory driven, but relationship driven.

Choosing a counsellor to work with can be a difficult thing. It’s important to contact someone who you think you will get along with and who will understand you. Before you contact me, I encourage you to read the ‘about me‘ page. Plus I’m always happy to offer a free 15 minute call, or Whatsapp video, before you decide to meet me.

In our first session we will talk about why you are seeking help and get to know each other a little bit. It is only after this first meeting that you decide whether you would like to work with me. And, if we are meeting online, whether you are able to find a suitable space to take my calls.

Some clients start meeting face-to-face and then decide to move to online sessions. It might be because coming out every week is difficult if you are struggling with your health. I am very happy to discuss this with you. Remember that you will need a good broadband connection and a comfortable space where you are able to talk freely without being overheard.

There are some obvious advantages to online sessions, not least the convenience of not having to leave home, but if you’d like to read more about online therapy, there is an interesting article you may wish to read here.
